EYFS: Let the fun continue!

Target audience:

All early years practitioners (including teachers, nursery nurses and teaching assistants)

Outline of event:

Fun and practical workshop day.

Following the huge success of Let The Fun Begin we are offering another fun-filled day with four practical workshops for all to attend:

Creative Clay: Hands on, messy play workshop by Dr Alex Hallowes, local artist, promoting children’s scientific enquiry, creativity and sensory language through play with clay.

Loose parts: Develop children’s curiosity and problem solving skills with James Tunnell’s loose parts workshop. Understand the theory behind the practice considering organisation within Early Years provision.

Creative Kitchen: Build basic maths and literacy concepts and grow confidence and communication skills through this workshop by Hornsea Nursery practitioners.

Music and Movement: Helen Battelley is leading an instant impact in movement workshop for all EYFS staff to engage pupils in all subject areas through movement, ideal to inspire boys.

this is a special arrangement event

Learning and Teaching Outcomes:

The day will provide an opportunity for you to network with Early Years colleagues working across the 0-5 age range.

Practical ideas will be shared in the workshops.
