EYFS: Let the fun continue!
All early years practitioners (including teachers, nursery nurses and teaching assistants)
Outline of event:
Fun and practical workshop day.
Following the huge success of Let The Fun Begin we are offering another fun-filled day with four practical workshops for all to attend:
Creative Clay: Hands on, messy play workshop by Dr Alex Hallowes, local artist, promoting children’s scientific enquiry, creativity and sensory language through play with clay.
Loose parts: Develop children’s curiosity and problem solving skills with James Tunnell’s loose parts workshop. Understand the theory behind the practice considering organisation within Early Years provision.
Creative Kitchen: Build basic maths and literacy concepts and grow confidence and communication skills through this workshop by Hornsea Nursery practitioners.
Music and Movement: Helen Battelley is leading an instant impact in movement workshop for all EYFS staff to engage pupils in all subject areas through movement, ideal to inspire boys.
Learning and Teaching Outcomes:
The day will provide an opportunity for you to network with Early Years colleagues working across the 0-5 age range.
Practical ideas will be shared in the workshops.
We expect that all CPD will involve integral evaluation processes
No preparation needed.
