Learning Walks, be Ofsted Ready

Target audience:

Governors

Outline of event:

When used effectively, learning walks can be valuable in helping governors getting to know their school well. This session will outline the benefit of learning walks for governors. It will help to inform governors of the learning walk process and also make suggestions of things to look for and questions to ask.

This event is taking place at County Hall 6.30pm - 8.30pm

Learning and Teaching Outcomes:

Attendance at this event will help governors to:

• Revisit the role of the governor
• Explain the learning walk process
• Understand how learning walks can be used to support and challenge the headteacher
• Provide governors with expected protocols when undertaking a learning walk
