How good is our Governance? Building a tool-kit for self review

How do you know how good you are?
What does good or outstanding governance look like?
How do you go about improving governance in your school?

This session is an opportunity to look and reflect on how governance is working in your school.

Governors' will look at examples of good practice from across the region and suggestions of tools & processes for looking at how to improve governance in your school. The event will cover areas used in competency framework of Strategic Leadership, Accountability, People, Structures, Compliance and Evaluation.

This event will be facilitated by Jane Lewis, Jane has been a governor for 17 years, designated a National Leader of Governance (NLG) in 2012. Jane now covers East Midlands, South Yorkshire and Humber as a NLG Regional Champion.
