NQT Induction Tutor Conference

Target audience:

NQT Induction tutors/ coordinators, NQT subject/ class mentors

Outline of event:

This conference has been organised to provide a key training opportunity for NQT Induction tutors / mentors whether experienced or new to role.
It is important that all NQT Induction tutors receive updates to ensure that schools are meeting all the statutory requirements and are familiar with their roles and the expectations of the Appropriate Body.

The conference is FREE OF CHARGE.

The morning session is for NQT Induction tutors/mentors who are new to the role. The session will include a focus on the statutory requirements, effective mentoring and NQT manager.
The afternoon session (starting at 1:15pm) is for all NQT Induction tuors/mentors, new and existing.The session will include updates and a focus on the recently published DfE Early Careers Framework in preparation for the proposed changes to NQT Induction and training for NQTs and mentors.

As a result of this conference, delegates will have:-
-a clear understanding of the school's statutory duties for NQT Induction, together with their roles and responsibilities
-opportunities to share good practice and to network with colleagues
-developed an understanding about the proposed changes within the Early Careers Framework
