EYFS: Conference/Workshops

Target audience:

All early years practitioners

Outline of event:

This years early years conference will consist of 4 practical workshops which all delegates will be able to attend throughout the day. The workshop themes will be:
* Woodwork
* Scrap store
* Story telling with puppets
* Messy play
Delegates fee will be £50

Learning and Teaching Outcomes:

* Understand the value and theory of practical work
* Understand the potential of practical activities for creativity and critical thinking
* Learn how to introduce practical activities safely, implementing an effective risk assessment.
* Understand the most suitable tools and resources for young children and how to use them.
* Be confident to develop a practical creative area.

We expect that all CPD will involve integral evaluation processes

Preparation:

Come prepared to take part in practical and messy activities!
